During this 101 session, we will delve into candle troubleshooting to help develop your candle making skills.
Learn techniques like wick selection and get a better hot release from your candles, for example.

Choose the topic you are interested in and we will have a video session to discuss it.

Time for each video session is 30 minutes.

Vessel Candle Care

  1. Trim wick to 1/4" before every burn. To trim the wick, simply pinch off the burnt piece of wood and discard.
  2. Do not burn for longer than 4 hours at a time.
  3. Never leave a candle unattended while burning.
  4. Stop burning when 1/2" of wax remains. To use the last bit of wax, place the candle jar on a warmer.
  5. Keep away from air vents, windows, drafts, children, pets, and flammable objects.

Sculptural Candle Care

  1. Place candle on a stable, heat resistant surface away from flammable objects before lighting.
  2. Never leave a candle unattended while burning.
  3. Stop burning when 1/2" of wax remains. To use the last bit of wax, place the candle jar on a warmer.
  4. Keep away from air vents, windows, drafts, children, pets, and flammable objects.
