Note:  You will need a pot, a bowl and a thermometer.

CANDLE MAKING SAFETY NOTES: Use this kit at your own risk. Never leave melted wax unattended. Never heat wax on direct heat. Don’t pour melted wax down the drain, sink or use dishwasher for cleaning. Make sure to use a thermometer to monitor wax temperature at all times.

Vessel Candle Care

  1. Trim wick to 1/4" before every burn. To trim the wick, simply pinch off the burnt piece of wood and discard.
  2. Do not burn for longer than 4 hours at a time.
  3. Never leave a candle unattended while burning.
  4. Stop burning when 1/2" of wax remains. To use the last bit of wax, place the candle jar on a warmer.
  5. Keep away from air vents, windows, drafts, children, pets, and flammable objects.

Sculptural Candle Care

  1. Place candle on a stable, heat resistant surface away from flammable objects before lighting.
  2. Never leave a candle unattended while burning.
  3. Stop burning when 1/2" of wax remains. To use the last bit of wax, place the candle jar on a warmer.
  4. Keep away from air vents, windows, drafts, children, pets, and flammable objects.
